The baby pygmy hippopotamus, Moo Deng, has become a viral superstar and is gaining fans worldwide as the new star of the Khao Kheow Open Zoo in eastern Thailand.
The baby hippo was born on June 10 alongside two siblings named “Pork Stew” and “Sweet Pork” to Jona and Tony, parents at the Chonburi zoo.

She is the granddaughter of Malee, Thailand’s oldest hippo who is 59 years old.
Moo Deng’s attractive behavior and cute, squeezed face are winning over fans in her daily TikTok videos.
In certain social media videos, visitors are shown pouring water on sleeping Moo Deng to wake her up.
Others have thrown fruits, as well as shouting, to draw the little baby hippo’s attention, Which is totally wrong.
However, Zoo keepers are concerned for her safety due to the increasing attention she has been receiving.
